HISTORY
Professional Land Services, Inc. was established in 1986 with offices in Mississippi, Tennessee and Kentucky by K. Max Billingsley and Shannon D. Tidwell as a Land Surveying, Forestry Consulting and Mapping Firm. In 1987, Mike Akins joined the firm and in 1996 Clint Tidwell joined the firm. Our Team

Shannon D. Tidwell, PSA 1971 graduate of Northeast Mississippi Community College with an A.A.S. Degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Tidwell was first licensed in Mississippi in 1976 as a Professional Surveyor and later in 1977 in Tennessee. He has continually practiced surveying since graduating. Shannon has served on the Mississippi State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Surveyors since 1994, holding the position of Secretary, Vice-President, and President of the Board. He has been a member of the Mississippi Association of Professional Surveyors since 1976.

Mike Akins, PSMike is a 1976 graduate of Northeast Mississippi Community College with an A.A.S. Degree in Civil Engineering Technology. He was licensed in 1983 as a Professional Surveyor in Mississippi. He has continually practiced surveying and mapping since graduating. He is a member of the Mississippi Association of Professional Surveyors.

Clint Tidwell, PS, RFClint is a 1996 graduate of Mississippi State University with a B.S. Degree in Forest Resources. He was first licensed in 2001 as a Professional Surveyor in Mississippi. Later in 2003, he received his license as a Professional Surveyor in Tennessee. He received his license as a Registered Forester in 1996 from Mississippi. Clint has spent his time surveying and forestry consulting since graduating. Clint is a member of Mississippi Association of Professional Surveyors and has served on the Board of Directors.
